2026 Update
Mayor Wilson reconvened the Advance Portland Advisory Committee on February 26, 2026, to initiate an update to the Advance Portland strategy.
Prosper Portland will engage the Advisory Committee, strategic partners, and elected officials before returning in summer 2026 with key actions to deliver on the strategy in the short term.

Advance Portland Advisory Committee
Portland City Council directed the creation of an external advisory committee to advise on implementation and monitor progress for Advance Portland.
Former City Commissioner Carmen Rubio nominated and convened the Advance Portland Advisory Committee in September 2023.
The primary goal of the Advisory Committee is to shape and advise implementation of Advance Portland; identify impediments; advocate for resources; and to monitor progress of key actions in the adopted plan.
