2026 Update
Mayor Wilson reconvened the Advance Portland Advisory Committee in February 2026, to initiate an update to the Advance Portland strategy.
The Prosper Portland Executive Director and staff reengaged partners and elected officials and returned to the Prosper Portland Board, City Council City Life Committee, and the Advisory Committee in October 2026 with a recalibration of the strategy and a high-level agency work plan for the final two years of the strategy.

Advance Portland Advisory Committee
Portland City Council directed the creation of an external advisory committee to advise on implementation and monitor progress for Advance Portland.
Former City Commissioner Carmen Rubio nominated and convened the Advance Portland Advisory Committee in September 2023.
The primary goal of the Advisory Committee is to shape and advise implementation of Advance Portland; identify impediments; advocate for resources; and to monitor progress of key actions in the adopted plan.
